Springtime Fashion

A bloggers springtime uniform - simple heels, structured bag, classic slacks; all in black of course to make it versatile. Add any kind of textured, colored top (in this case an oxblood suede top), a not-so-average coat and voilà you're good to go. (To see a different version click here.)

Spotted - KBL Eyewear

Who doesn't love Sunglasses? On the hunt for a new pair, I have spotted an amazing company  that could provide us with a lifetime supply of (sun)glasses which certainly wouldn't run out of fashion. Wether your searching for the timeless effort of a classic tortoise shell, the extravagance of a semi-clear-framed cat eye or the ever-so-cool aviators (preferably in matte black!) chances you will find them here are pretty good!
In addition to their fabulous design they actually seem to be good quality - judging from the pair of sunglasses I got a few weeks ago. And for the fashion-conscious four-eyes of us : they make normal glasses too!

Check out their website here.

Mixing Up

ENG: And the coat obsession doesn't stop: Zara launched their spring summer collection and I'm adding every coat they designed to my wardrobe -well at least in my mind-.
Last year the combination of camel/orange had it's big fashion moment, I however am late on the trend-wagon and have only recently discovered the ability of orange to add a twist to an otherwise boring outfit.
White shirt, tuxedo pants, open-toe sandals, structured bag, chain necklace - these are all fashion staples, nothing exciting, nothing trendy. The cream coat breaks up the monochrome color scheme and loosens up the sharp silhouettes with it's soft texture. A pop of color with Essie's "Meet me at Sunset" and voilà - ready for fashion week.

About shoes...

New Year, New Trends - Shoe Edition

Leaves: Chunky Trainers. Les filles, I never quite understood this trend. Sure, they're comfortable and certainly contribute to that certain streetstyle credibility, but they are so unelegant. Much to my pleasure this 90' reference has no place on the trend shelf of 2015. Good bye !
Stays: The Slip-On's of course. Represented on nearly every fashion blog you can look at, they haven't yet floated into the range of low-end retailers (at least not where I live) but I bet by spring the majority of small-town fashionistas will flaunt their feet in the iconic no-shoelaces model.                                            (Rebecca Minkoff - Salli )
Comes: The white tennis shoe. No brand, no color, no funky extras. Just a plain white, smooth leather tennis shoe with off-white laces. Attention please: White Converse are known to look best when they are a little worn in - but not these!
It's all about that brilliant white, fresh from the shop look.                                                                     (Sandro Athlete - Low Top Sneaker)
